Keys, breakage and cancelling
Plain rules for the three things people ask about most.
Keys, door codes and alarms
When you book, you tell me how I get in: you open the door, a lockbox or door code, or someone you name. I share codes and key locations only with Deshawn, and only for your visit. If your home has an alarm, give me the code and the steps. If it goes off, I call you first.
- I don't copy keys.
- I return a key you hand me at the end of the visit, or as you tell me.
- Tell me if a code changes before your visit.
If I miss something
Tell me within two days of the visit, with a photo if you can. I come back and redo that area on the next open day. I redo what is on your checklist. A redo isn't a refund, and I can't redo a room I wasn't asked to clean.
If something is broken or missing
Tell me within two days, with what it is, where it was and a photo. I look at it with Deshawn. If we caused it, I repair or replace it, or I file a claim with my insurance.
Cancelling, moving a visit and lockouts
Text me up to a day before your arrival window, and moving or cancelling costs nothing. Later than that, or if we can't get in during the window, I may charge a late fee. The amount is in your written price before you say yes.
- We wait fifteen minutes inside your window before I call you.
- If I can't reach you, the visit counts as a lockout.
- A lockout can carry the late fee.
What I don't do
Hoarding, mold, biohazard, heavy lifting, work at height, and pest or rodent droppings are for specialists. If your home needs one, I tell you and point you to who can help.
Book a first clean
Send me a note and I'll text you back with the open days and a price in writing.
